Interconnected Health & the Removal of Wisdom Teeth

Health

What happens to our body when our wisdom teeth are removed? What is the connection between our teeth and other organs?

One way to look at this is energetically. For example, tattoos damage our energy system because of their permanent nature and footprint into our minor energy centers. The location can determine the impact they have on the physical body. Logically, such damage can affect our immunity, leading to a higher chance of health issues that stem from past emotional and karmic events.

If we remove something that is part of us, that can influence the energy flow in some way. Our body adapts of course, such as when we lose an arm or leg, or have a toe or finger amputated. But that does cause a system disruption and impact our overall health.

There are minor energy centers all over our body. For example, the feet are used in reflexology. With pressure points, areas of the body can be healed and/or have pain relief. Basically, reflexology is about restoring the body back into its harmonic state. The practice divides the body into reflex zones.

Let’s look now at acupuncture. The meridians are accessed by needles being inserted into the skin. Acupuncture improves the body’s functions and promotes the natural self-healing process by stimulating specific anatomic sites—commonly referred to as acupuncture points, or acupoints.

Wisdom teeth are said to be connected to the heart and intestine meridians, so if the wisdom teeth are removed, that can increase the chances of issues arising in those areas. It’s also not uncommon to have ear issues (hearing problems, vertigo) or even nerve damage (paraesthesia) after wisdom tooth extraction. This is because of the link through those minor energy centers, via the meridians and energy system.

If you are new to the “energy system”, one great way to become more familiar is to learn about the seven primary chakras (larger energy centers). I have a very detailed article covering all seven, based on research from six well-known books, in combination with my intuition (stream of consciousness): https://laron.nz/seven-primary-chakras/.

Dentist Jay Friedman released a report within the American Journal of Public Health that revealed 67 percent, or more, of preventative wisdom teeth removals are unnecessary. Note the word “more”, as the percentage could be a lot higher.

Conditions in the mouth have a profound potential to reflect and influence the health of the whole person. Disruptions to the flow of energy through the mouth may affect remote regions of the body and disruptions elsewhere may manifest in the mouth. These relationships are a result of communication between the Acupuncture Meridians and the Teeth.

Below is an infographic depicting meridian dentistry and emotional roots, originally made by Ralph Wilson. This shows you how emotions impact the health of our teeth, but also the organ/area of the body. The emotions will be part of a situation that occurred in your past, that you can’t let go of and keep thinking about.

Collective Evolution has a great article from 2015, with two charts that relate to this discussion, titled, The Relationship Between Your Wisdom Teeth & Body Organs.

As for a book resource, the best one I’ve come across is, Uninformed Consent : The Hidden Dangers in Dental Care, by Hal A. Huggins.

And if you are looking for a resource, and space, to discuss holistic / alternative health, I’ve got a board covering this area on the forum for my metaphysical informational/news site transients, right here.
